System-based thermal architecture does not treat multilayer metals as isolated materials but as integrated thermodynamic systems. Thermal performance emerges from the serial thermal resistance of the individual layers, the effective thermal conductivity of the overall structure and the resulting power density within the heat plate.

Metallurgically bonded multilayer metals enable reproducible thermal behaviour, stable material interfaces and standardized industrial heat plate geometries.
